So, New Year was fun. Good time with friends, and a good amount of alcohol consumed. Plus. the nightmare of all New Years Eves (well, day really) was magically avoided, when we walked out onto the main road and a taxi came past with its' light on. It really was a one in 32 year experience. Or maybe it was because it was 5am...
The following day started well enough but went downhill quickly as my hangover developed. This was a whole new experience for me, waking feeling a bit groggy, two hours later feeling unwell, later still feeling like death. A quick recap reveals I'd had 5 whiskey and cokes before I left home, and a good bit of bubbles before I started on (and nearly drained) a 3l wine box. Ouch. And, being where we were, there was the now traditional doughnut eating competition which I have only just remembered.
Over the past three days, I've thought of a lot of things to write about, but the head isn't willing right now. It isn't the most promising of starts really.
